Belonging is more than connection — it’s medicine

Friend, I have moved to new places 11 times in my life. Three elementary schools, two high schools, three colleges… new towns, a new country, new jobs, new faces.

I’ve truly loved the adventure of it all, and I’ve met incredible people from all over the world. But I’ve also carried a quiet longing to plant deep roots.

When we moved to the Western New York area two years ago, I made myself a promise: This time, I will stay.

I’d left behind a circle of women I loved dearly in our last town — and I knew that without connection, I would be lost. So, within the first few months of arriving, I threw myself into the community. I met as many people as I could, knowing I needed a village.

Then one day, I sat down for coffee with a woman I’d met randomly at my daughter’s elementary school orientation. She was truly lovely — warm, friendly, kind.

Someone observing us might not have noticed anything extraordinary happening in our exchange — there was no deep heart-to-heart (at least, not yet) or life-changing advice shared.

But somewhere in the middle of that coffee, something extraordinary happened inside me. My throat caught, my eyes welled up, and my soul whispered (I swear, I could hear it): “Oh… there you are.”

In neon lights, I got the message that I had found my first “person” here in this new place. And then I knew I was going to be okay.

Since then, my roots have deepened further through more Universe-driven encounters and my work at the studio. But it started with that one moment of being seen and feeling safe enough to exhale.

That is what belonging does. It doesn’t just feel good — it regulates your nervous system, it softens your guard, it tells your body and your spirit: you are home.

And this is why I created Tender Circle.

Some women are lucky enough to have a built-in community, but some of us are nomads. Or our communities haven’t shifted with us as we’ve grown through our healing.

We might:

  • Feel unseen or misunderstood in our families.
  • Feel as if we have outgrown certain friendships.
  • Feel tired of shrinking ourselves to fit into old roles.
  • Long for conversations that feel nourishing and life-sustaining.

If that’s you, I made this space for us to belong.

What is Tender Circle?

Tender Circle is a monthly healing circle for women that blends:

  • Nervous system-friendly energy healing
  • Gentle breath and somatic practices
  • Soulful conversation and intuitive reflection
  • A safe space for community, connection, and truth-telling

This is your monthly pause button—an hour to step out of the noise, reconnect with yourself, and be held by a circle of women who are walking their own healing paths.

You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to show up and connect more deeply to yourself and others.

I’ll be there with my whole heart. I hope you will be, too.

In Love, Light, and healing,

*P.S. – Come as you are and engage as you’re comfortable, whether you feel like sharing, listening, or simply soaking up the energy while sipping some yummy tea. 😊

**P.S.S. – Tender Circle currently only happens live in Lewiston, NY. We’re keeping this intimate with only 7 women, so it feels safe and spacious for everyone. When you arrive, there will be a little something waiting for you — a gift to help you carry the Circle’s energy home. 😘
