Energy Healer, Coach, Author, Mama
Hi, I’m Vera Chapman—a trauma-informed energy healer, somatic practitioner, and spaceholder for women navigating burnout, grief, emotional exhaustion, and life transitions who are ready to come home to themselves.
I am a Board Certified Coach, Certified Sound Healer, Certified Yoga Teacher, and proud mama of two living children and one in the stars. I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling and a Ph.D in Education. I have healed from deep grief and sexual trauma using the modalities I now teach, and I’ve authored a children’s book and healing affirmation cards to support grieving women and their families.
Most importantly, I’m on a mission to make energy healing accessible to everyone.

I support women through burnout recovery, grief support, trauma-informed healing, emotional healing, and spiritual transformation—not with prescriptive practices or spiritual bypassing, but with accessible, grounded energy healing that meets you exactly where you are. My work weaves together Reiki healing, somatic energy work, sound healing, and nervous system support to help restore your capacity, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect you with your inner wisdom. This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about remembering you were never broken. I don’t offer quick fixes or bandaid solutions. I offer presence. Practice. And permission to heal gently, messily, and on your own terms.
If you’re seeking quick fixes, manifesting formulas, or prescriptive spiritual routines, you won’t find them here. Instead, I offer:
✅ Grounded, trauma-informed Reiki with sound healing and somatic energy coaching
✅ Somatic energy work and nervous system regulation to help you feel safe and connected in your body again
✅ Energy-focused sound healing and women’s circles that support emotional release and burnout recovery
✅ Deep presence and radical permission to heal—at your own pace, in your own way
Because real healing? It’s crying in the car and showing up anyway. It’s resting instead of pushing. It’s learning to let your body lead, even when your brain still wants a checklist.
I’ve always been really good at doing. Achieving. Pushing through. Checking boxes. Holding it together. Like so many women, I confused my worth with my productivity. I was a proud and exhausted overachiever.
Then, in 2021, my son, Hayes, was stillborn at nearly full term. That loss shattered me. I was consumed by deep grief while my nervous system remained on high alert in the wake of reproductive trauma. I was absent from my life, dissociated and numb, but I kept pushing through.
Then, a diagnosis of postpartum PTSD (and a very insistent Doctor) helped me recognize that it was okay that I was not okay. That is was time to hit pause and to choose healing.
Through energy healing, somatic practices, and Reiki healing, along with a lot of ugly crying in therapy, I found my way back. First, to my breath and body. Second, to a peaceful heart and intuitive wisdom. And ultimately, to my Soul, with gratitude for this beautifully messy human experience – even the very hard parts.
Now, using my signature framework, The MOIRA Process™, I help other women to do the same- to slow down, listen in, move stuck energy through, and come home to themselves.
➡ Because I know what it’s like to look like you’re holding it together—but feel completely ungrounded and quietly unraveling inside.
➡ Because I’ve lived the experience of it all falling apart. The full-body undoing. And the healing that doesn’t come with a checklist or a timeline.
➡ Because healing can be messy and scary and lonely. Like crying in the Target parking lot. Or buying all the self-help books and crystals, just hoping something, anything, will help you to feel better.
It’s true, the women I work with have often tried all the things—therapy, yoga, guided journals, mindset work, even energy healing or women’s circles. And while many of those tools offered moments of insight or calm, they didn’t always feel integrated or lasting. They’ve kept going because they had to. And now they’re craving something different. Something that doesn’t just live in their heads or on their to-do list. Something that brings lasting balance—rooted in their bodies, their nervous systems, and their truth.
That’s why I do this work: to make healing accessible and sustainable. To create spaces where you can come as you are—Soul-level tired, overwhelmed, and beautifully imperfect—and feel truly seen and supported.
Whether you’re brand new to nervous system regulation and energy healing or returning to your practice, this is a space where you’re welcome to explore at your own pace.
Though the School of Life is an excellent teacher, I am also continually expanding my skills and credentials as a Coach and space holder. I care deeply about this work and don’t take the responsibility of Soul-level care lightly. Some professional highlights:
There’s no one right way to heal—no checklist, no gold stars, no finish line. But I do believe in a few things with my whole heart. These are the truths I return to again and again, and the values that shape how I hold space for healing, grief, burnout recovery, and coming home to yourself. I believe:
💛 Healing is a remembering, not a fixing—a return to your body, your breath, your truth.
💛 Healing begins when we come back to our bodies and honor the wisdom they hold.
💛 You are not broken—you are becoming, and gentleness is part of the work.
💛 Your body, your energy, and your intuition already know the way.
💛 Process Over Perfection. Healing isn’t linear, and every messy, beautiful step counts.
💛 We heal better together—in shared space, in community, in being witnessed.
💛 Healing is a choice only you can make.
If these words feel like a yes in your body—if they feel like the kind of space you’ve been longing for—I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Explore a circle, join a sound bath, or work with me one-on-one. You don’t have to do this alone.
After the loss of their baby brother, Hayes, before birth, nothing feels quite right for siblings Grayson and Ivey. Their touching journey through grief gently introduces mindfulness techniques to support healing. Silly balloon breaths bring calm amid big feelings, wiggling toes begin to unravel stuck emotions, tree pose helps them discover steadiness and strength, visualization helps to bring loved ones closer, and positive affirmations offer powerful healing reminders. This comforting companion reminds families that, with time and mindful presence, love can heal even the deepest wounds.
